Who we are

Bloom Mama is a pregnancy and postpartum companion app. This policy explains how we handle your information.

What data Bloom Mama collects

Bloom Mama stores the following locally on your device:

• Your name and baby's name
• Your due date or baby's date of birth
• Birth type and feeding method
• Daily check-in data (mood, energy, pain, sleep, notes)
• Journal entries and letters to your baby
• App preferences

Where your data is stored

Everything listed above is stored on your device. We don't keep a copy of it, except for the information you choose to send to Bloom AI (see below).

Bloom AI (optional)

Bloom AI includes the "Talk to Bloom" chat and personalised insights. These features only run when you use them. When you use them, the following is sent securely through our server to a third-party AI provider to generate a reply:

• Your chat messages
• Your pregnancy or postpartum week, birth type and feeding method
• For insights: your recent check-ins (mood, energy, pain, sleep, anxiety and notes) and your first name
• A random app installation ID, used to secure the connection. It is not linked to your identity.

This information is used only to answer you. It is never sold or used for advertising. Bloom AI does not diagnose and is not a substitute for medical advice. You can stop using Bloom AI at any time.

What we do NOT collect

• Email address or contact information
• Location data
• Advertising IDs
• Analytics, usage patterns, or behavioural data
• Photos, contacts, or any other phone data

Third-party services

No analytics, no ad networks. Bloom AI uses a third-party AI provider, only as described above. Premium subscriptions are handled by Google Play or Apple App Store — we never see your payment data.

No user accounts

No registration, no email, no sign-in.

Data deletion

Use "Reset my journey" in the app or uninstall. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

GDPR compliance

You have full control over your data: access, edit, export, or delete it at any time. For any request about information sent through Bloom AI, contact us at the address below.
