Our story

I built Bloom Mama because mothers deserve better.

In pregnancy and after birth, so much attention goes to the baby, and not nearly enough to the mother. Bloom Mama exists to close that gap.

Why I created Bloom Mama

Bloom Mama started with a simple frustration: mothers are expected to recover from one of the biggest physical and emotional experiences of their lives with far too little support.

I wanted to create something that made mothers feel seen, from the first positive test to the toddler years. Not rushed. Not dismissed. Not told they should be "back to normal" six weeks after birth.

Bloom Mama is the app I wish more mothers had in that vulnerable, life-changing first year.

What Bloom Mama is for

Week-by-week pregnancy guidance, birth preparation, postpartum recovery, C-section scar care, diastasis recti rehab, feeding support, emergency information and mental health check-ins. A calm voice from the first positive test to your baby's second birthday.

What matters to me

Privacy — your journal and check-ins stay on your device, and Bloom AI only runs when you choose to use it. Honesty — pregnancy and postpartum are not always beautiful, and we don't pretend otherwise. Support — not perfection.

Why Bloom Mama exists

What we believe

01

Care from the first test, not only after birth

We guide you week by week through pregnancy, then through the first two years with your baby, because that's how long this journey really takes.

02

Mothers deserve to be looked after

The baby gets a paediatrician. The mother gets a 10-minute GP check. We close that gap.

03

Your body, your data

Your journal and check-ins stay on your phone. Bloom AI only sees what it needs, only when you ask.

04

Evidence over trends

Every recommendation is based on clinical evidence. No pseudoscience.

05

Honest, not positive

Some moments are hard. Recovery is non-linear. That's okay.

06

Accessible to everyone

Core features are free. Emergency guidance is always free.

07

Built by a mother, with mothers

Every screen has been shaped by the women who use it. Their feedback is the roadmap.

08

Care in your language

Care should not depend on the language you speak. We translate with care, not just words.
